More Chinese New Year Fun

Uncle Ringos' FunFair yesterday, reminded me of New Brighton with that abandoned amusement arcade vibe. Nobody even manning the bumper cars. We drove past later on in the evening and the stadium was almost full, think people were just waiting until after the sun went down.

We found some serious crowds back in China Town though, which was were they were selling these 'real' dragon fruit plants...

Had a shuffle around Chinatown this weekend - all the lanterns, Chinese New Year songs and tasty treats, I love New Year time in Singapore!

Crafty Sunday

I made vegan blueberry scones based on a recipe from Babycakes NY - I loved this recipe book everything sugar free and vegan but still really tasty.

Also made a dress following the tutorial from the fantastic VeryPurplePerson. Next one I make will be in all black as I started to wonder this morning if this dress looked more like an old lady nightie....
